Alex Dang is a Creative specialized in the Automotive Design field. He’s a Senior Advanced Exterior Designer currently working at Mercedes-Benz Advanced Exterior Design based in Germany, Sindelfingen. He was one of the key contributors to the groundbreaking Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR (2020) which was a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and the Avatar Movie Team in Hollywood.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Transportation Design from Pforzheim University. Before joining Mercedes, Alex Dang has worked with McLaren, Volkswagen, Eurocopter and Hyundai.
During his High School time he won several awards and nominations in movie making and Visual Effects (Jugendfilmpreis BW, up-and-coming Festival). After his high school graduation (Abitur) he absolved a 3 year apprenticeship in woodwork and hard modelling at Mercedes-Benz to dive deeper into the craftsmanship.

Besides his passion for learning and teaching Kung Fu, in his freetime he keeps expanding his diverse design skillsets and knowledge to create 3D Artworks and Animations. He is open for freelance projects and teaches Design at the University, Reutlingen (Transportation Interior Design).

Due to a lot of questions from international students to get feedback and advices on their work, Alex Dang will soon offer video tutorials and an exclusive online mentorship program to be able to reach out to more students all around the world. Improving the skillset is a valuble invest not just for aspriring designers but also for those who want to level up.
