PHOENIX EGG
Corona was a time, when a lot of things suddenly changed unexpectedly. Lockdown, quarantine, social distance… there were not many things that you could do outside. So I took that as a chance – like some of you I guess – to learn something new. In my case I jumped into blender and spent a lot of time exploring and learning things which were out of my comfort zone. As a Designer with a 2D Background it was a good addition to my skillset to level up the game by focusing more on 3D Art.
Many people did the best out of this situation. The Phoenix Egg resembles exactly that message:
„Something new is created out of the ash – like the cycle of a phoenix.“

FUTURE MUSEUM
It’s pretty obvious, that our screentime increased dramatically, since Covid-19. Homeoffice, Skype, Zoom and even smaller Birthday parties shifted to the screen out of the emergency. Technology is a good thing. But what if we become slaves of it? What if it’s common sense to spend hours in front of screens or augmented realities..? Short attention span and continuos distraction already arrived in our present…
At the same time our earth is being destroyed. Rising sea levels and storms caused by climate change destroyed nature. In the „MUSEUM OF ANCIENT NATURE“ you can find some archives of how a „TREE“ looked like…
A dystopian 3D artwork, that is inspired by screentime during Covid19 and global warming.
Let’s not wait until nature is destroyed to start protecting and cultivating the beauty, that we have on mother earth.
